A few weeks ago we were sitting at a bar arguing if Kyle Schwarber was the right guy to be leading off for the Cubs. Opinions differed, words were said, beers were “spilled” and it fueled an ongoing debate. Naturally, with any group of opinionated degenerates, everybody thinks they won the argument. Truth is, there were no winners or losers, there was an educated discussion among friends, doing what we love most- debating about sports. So why limit that discussion to the confines of our local dive bar?(thanks for putting up with our shit Nite Games). Why not let the people hear our opinions and laugh in our faces when they disagree? With that, I am excited to announce the launch of Lost in the Sauce Sports- a platform where we can get those opinions and ideas out to the masses. We might not be the brightest bulbs in the box of light bulbs, but we think we are an entertaining crew. We are here to provide you with anything ranging from our expert opinions, analysis insights and grammatical errors on all things regarding sports, gambling or whatever is on our minds. Keep in mind I use the word “expert” very liberally. We are a bunch of regular dudes from the south suburbs of Chicago, so a lot of our content might be very Chicago-centric but we will not shy away from the big stories in the sports world. To be honest, we don’t really know where this is gonna take us, who knows? Down the road this could grow to be a place where you go to laugh, cry or hear our input, or we could crash and burn within the first few months. We really just wanted to create a place where we can get our ideas out there, get some exposure, and have some fun while doing it. Bottom line is, we cant predict the future any better than you can. But you know what? The pilgrims coming over on the Mayflower didn’t know they were going to be founding the greatest nation in the history of the world. They probably thought they were going to die of Typhus or some old ass disease on the trip over here. Granted, their road to glory was not easy but those boys messed around and changed the world forever. One day I hope to say we messed around and changed the internet forever, or at least some of your perspectives. So strap yourselves in, read our stuff and let us know what you think. If you like it, share it with friends and foe alike. If you hate it and think we’re idiots(we are), lie and pretend you like it and still share it with everybody. More to come, stay tuned.
